Nexus S beats iPhone in “real world” Web tests, says firm (Updated)
A Nexus S running Android 2.3 can load most websites 52 percent faster than an iPhone running iOS 4.3, according to a new study conducted by website analysis firm Blaze. The company based its conclusions on 45,000 website measurements using an iPhone 4 and a Nexus S, and says it was surprised by the results, considering the JavaScript performance gains that came with iOS 4.3. In this video, we put the iPhone 4 up agaisnt the original iPhone in a wi-fi based speed test, and the iPhone 4 against the iPhone 3Gs in a AT&T wireless 3G test. All throughout, iPhone 4 won all the speed tests. Also, I compare the iPHone 4 sizewise to the original iPhone, iPhone 3Gs, and the iPod touch 2nd generation. The new iPhone is significantly slimmer, but it kind of hard to see it but you can easily feel it. We will be doing more iPhone 4 videos in the near future, so subscribe to get updated about them.
