Check out part one of the review! pdog.ws Verizon users, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has finally landed on your carrier! Aaron takes an in-depth look at the newest 4G LTE Android smartphone on the nation’s largest wireless carrier. In addition to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the Galaxy Nexus packs a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing shooter, and a 1850 mAh battery. It’s slightly larger and heavier than its unlocked counterpart, but the 4G LTE and larger battery make up for it. Android fans are going to love the Galaxy Nexus due to the near-stock Android software and the feature set, but for the regular consumer, it joins the Motorola DROID RAZR and HTC Rezound – two awesome Android phones in their own right. The Casio G’zOne Commando is not just another rugged phone. It’s an Android smartphone with a decent 800 MHz processor, a 5 MP autofocus camera, and 3G Hot Spot capabilities. Casio has a good reputation for making very durable rugged phones and the Commando is no different. I put it through several rugged tests to see how it would hold up. Check out the results in part one of this review. Most people may assume that the Commando is simply for people who work outside or are rough on their phone, but it seems to be best suited for those who travel a lot of spend a lot of time outdoors. If you’re the kind of person that goes camping on every available ocassion, considers themselves a world traveler, or enjoys an active lifestyle, the Commando is the perfect phone for you.
