This means that it will have access to a host of gaming titles, including ports of older PlayStation games. The version for Verizon Wireless has Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread (not 2.3.4, so no video chat in Google Talk) without any customizations as found on the European version. More importantly, it features a slide-out gaming pad, complete with two touch-sensitive pads to simulate analog sticks. The Casio G’zOne Commando is not just another rugged phone. It’s an Android smartphone with a decent 800 MHz processor, a 5 MP autofocus camera, and 3G Hot Spot capabilities. Casio has a good reputation for making very durable rugged phones and the Commando is no different. I put it through several rugged tests to see how it would hold up. Most people may assume that the Commando is simply for people who work outside or are rough on their phone, but it seems to be best suited for those who travel a lot of spend a lot of time outdoors.
