I have tmobile and am looking to buy the Samsung Vibrant. Is that the best tmobile phone? I know there’s problems with the gps but I never use gps. What other phones are good? TMOBILE ONLY! thank you

My US Tmobile phone will charge me 1.29 per minute to call the US. Is there a cheaper way to call home from Italy, France, Amsterdam, and London?
I have been round and round with customer care and they just tell you to take the battery out no matter your service problem. They would tell you you can fix all the worlds problems if you pop the battery out for 10 seconds!
