White iPhone sparks skirmish at Beijing Apple Store
The long wait for Apple products in Beijing turned ugly over the weekend when a skirmish erupted outside one of the company’s stores, resulting in a broken glass door and injuries to customers and one employee. Apple’s iPad 2 had just gone on sale, but it was the white iPhone 4, released a week earlier, that caused the trouble.

The iPad is a sleek tablet that looks like a cross between an iPhone and the LCD case of the MacBook Air. It measures 7.5 x 9.6 inches and is only half an inch thick. It weighs a pound and a half. It has a 9.7-inch multi-touch screen with 1024 x 768 resolution. Apple says its internal 25 watt-hour battery lasts ten hours.
